WARRENSBURG --- Susan J. Wells, 67, passed away peacefully Jan. 29, 2014 at The Orchard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Granville following a long illness.

In later years, Susan enjoyed crafting with many friends, watching the Food Network, reading, going out for a drive, and especially spending time with her family, her pets, and her granddaughter, Amanda. While she was in the nursing home, Susan enjoyed visits from her favorite dog, Chloe, and her granddaughter, Amanda.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Francis Brady, and her good friends, Eyvonne Johnson and Eugene and Connie Monroe.
Survivors include two children: her son, James Wells and his companion, Alicia, and her daughter, Jennifer Jimieson and her husband, Colin, and her granddaughter, Amanda, all of Gansevoort; her brother, Alan (Gloria) Monroe of Queensbury; her sister, Janet Brady also of Queensbury; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her former husband, Raymond Wells.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 3, at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Sister Linda Hogan of St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church officiating.
Burial will take place in the spring at a time to be announced at West Glens Falls Cemetery, Queensbury.
