SOUTH GLENS FALLS --- Tanya Hatfield, 47, passed away on August 17, 2020, in Glens Falls.

Tanya was born in Saratoga Springs, NY to Susan C. Potter and William H. Nelson Jr. on October 13, 1972. After school she worked at a variety of places such as Trustco Bank, GE, and Pepsi Warehouse. She enjoyed listening to country music, spending time with family, and searching for waterfalls. She always said the best thing to happen to her was her 2 children and her boyfriend; she loved them with her whole heart. Tanya was an amazing woman and would do anything for her family.

Tanya was predeceased by her brother Robert Nelson and her mother Susan C. Potter.

Tanya is survived by her boyfriend, Matthew McNeill, of South Glens Falls; her son Noah Hatfield and girlfriend of Cobleskill; her daughter Brooke Hatfield and boyfriend of Warrensburg; her father William H. Nelson Jr. of Daytona, FL; her brother Kevin Donovan and wife of Corinth; and her brother Micheal Donovan of Ormond Beach, FL.; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, August 26, at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A private graveside ceremony will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Albany at the convenience of the family.
