Obituary

GLENS FALLS --- Terry Deven Fournier, 59, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at his home, with his loving daughters and grandchildren by his side.

Born Jan. 6, 1957 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Harold "Larry" and Carolyn (Jarvis) Fournier.

Terry attended Glens Falls City School District and also earned his CDL License.

Among his many ventures, Terry's favorite was driving truck. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, and was a die-hard New York Giants fan. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, fondly referring to them as his greatest accomplishment.

In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by two infant nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Grandma and Grampa Jarvis who raised him.

Survivors include the mother of his children, Marilyn Gorham; their three daughters; Nichole Monroe and her husband, Michael, Samantha Butkiewicz and her husband, Mike, and Terri Lynn Busse and her husband, Paul; seven grandchildren, Mickaela, Hunter, Logan, Jennika, Eliana, Ryllie, and Adriana; sister, Faith Morency; two brothers, Larry and Dave Fournier; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his loyal cat, Flynn.

Calling hours will take place Monday, March 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Murphy officiating.

Private graveside services will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Granville.

A special thank you to his best friend Skip Myers for being such an amazing person and being with him day after to day to provide support, friendship, and his daily coffee and newspaper. The family would also like to thank the nurses from High Peaks Hospice for their compassion and support.
