T heresa Nix (76) of Queensbury passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2025 at The Elderwood Nursing home in North Creek.

Theresa was born February 25th, 1949 to Roger and Anna (Torapilla) Guy. Theresa graduated from Glens Falls High School where she met the love of her life Everett Nix Jr.

Theresa worked for Grand Union / Tops Friendly Market for over 40 years. She loved spending time with her family and her favorite hobby was doing word puzzles.

Theresa is predeceased by her loving husband, Everett Nix Jr.; parents, Roger and Anna Guy; three brothers, Raymond, Francis, and Nicholas Guy; and nephew, Michael Guy!

Left to cherish Theresa's memory is her daughter, Cindy Bigelow (Brian); son, Everett Nix III (Karen); sister-in-law, Dawn Guy; grandchildren, Melanie Johnston (Mike), Everett Nix IV (Rachelle), and Amanda Allen (Daniel); nephew, Chis Guy; niece, Vanessa Guy; and cousin, Ray and Mary Boucher.

Theresa will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.

There will be no services per Theresa's request.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Washington Center Nursing home in Argyle, The Elderwood Nursing Home in North Creek, and her close friend Stephon Harris for taking care of Theresa over the past few years!
