Obituary

Thomas "Thom" Bombard, 75, passed away on March 3, 2025.

Born in Glens Falls on March 3, 1950 to the late Victor and Shirley Bombard, Thom graduated from Glens Falls High School, attended Adirondack Community College, and worked at the City of Glens Falls' wastewater treatment plant. A longtime parishioner of the Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls, Thom eventually became a Deacon at the Church and enjoyed spending his time supporting the congregation. Thom was a diehard Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Thom was predeceased by his grandparents, Tom and Mae Wilson in addition to his parents, Victor and Shirley.

Thom is survived by his cherished wife of 53 years, Deborah (Kelly) Bombard; his 5 children, Kelly Heck (Kevin), Brian Bombard (Trisha), Steven Bombard (Lynne), Jeff Bombard (Tegan), and Peter Bombard; his siblings, Laurie Hill (Don), Susan Loucks (Kevin), and Rick Bombard (Dale); his 11 wonderful grandchildren, Owen, Fiona, Derick, Trevor, Eva, Caleb, Kyle, Stephanie, Alexandria, Kellen, and August; and his nieces and nephews, Victoria Seabury (Gavin), Kevin McKinney, Jennifer Skidmore, Adam Bombard, Ashley Renfro, Vanessa Abbenante, and Regina Formont.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 9th at the Church of the Messiah, 296 Glen Street, Glens Falls at 3pm.

A gathering will be held at the Church of the Messiah's parish house across the street following the service.
