Charlotte, NC- Trevor J. DeMalta (TJ) passed away on October 23, 2025, unexpectedly after a long battle with mental illness.

Trevor was born on April 5, 1977, in Albany, NY, the son of the late Joseph L. DeMalta Jr. and Sandra Estes.

He graduated from Erwin Jr/Sr High School in 1995, and ITT Tech in Columbia, SC in 1997 with a degree in Draft and Design.

TJ loved traveling to Lake George every year to spend summers with his grandparents and sister. In his later years, he helped with the care of both of his grandparents as they aged. He felt free boating on Lake George; his worries would melt away with the breeze from the lake.

He is Predeceased by his father, Joseph L DeMalta Jr, paternal grandparents, Joseph and Cecelia DeMalta, and maternal grandparents, Harold and Veronica Furlong.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Alyson DeMalta of Portland ME, Kristen Whaley of Gray Court, SC; mother, Sandra Furlong of Gray Court, SC, and many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on May 1, 2025, at the Baker Funeral Home, 11 LaFayette St, Queensbury NY 12804.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday May 2, 2026, at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 7 Goodman Ave, Bolton Landing NY, 12814. Interment will immediately follow at the Bolton Rural Cemetery where TJ will be laid to rest with his father and grandparents.
