CANASTOTA --- Trevor Ireland, 26, of Genesee St., Canatstota, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2015 at his home.
Born September 1, 1989 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Kevin Ireland and Lisa (Moore) Ireland.
Trevor graduated from Glens Falls High School, Class of 2007 and was currently studying clinical psychology at Liberty University.
Trevor was a member of Vineyard Church in Syracuse, as well as the Rome Serenity Group.
Some of his enjoyments included reading, camping, watching movies, and participating in support groups. Above all, he loved spending time with family and friends, especially with his girlfriend, Courtney Reynolds. He will be always be remembered as being sweet and charming. He was always encouraging and supportive to those around him and loved to make people laugh. In his own words, Trevor was "proficient in the use of sarcasm."
Trevor was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Moore, and paternal grandfather, Loren Ireland.
Survivors include his mother and step-dad, Lisa Ireland and Dan Saville of Queensbury; his father and companion, Kevin Ireland and Lori Carpenter, also of Queensbury; two sisters, Maria (Don) Brayton and their son, Trysten, all of Ft. Edward, and Heather Ireland of Queensbury; a brother, Logan Ireland of Queensbury; the love of his life, Courtney Reynolds of South Glens Falls; maternal grandfather, Glenn Moore of Ft. Edward; paternal grandmother, Florence Ireland of South Glens Falls; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, with special mention of Shannon Bashant, whom Trevor was especially close to; also his dear friends, including Eddy Morris, Jeremy Sprague, and Lisa Modell; and his beloved cat, Oscar.
Calling hours will take place Saturday, Jan. 9, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Tether, pastor of Northway Christian Family Church, officiating.
Friends are invited to join the family for a gathering to celebrate Trevor's life will follow at Queensbury Masonic Lodge No. 121, 15 Burke Dr., Queensbury.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring.
