Obituary

HUDSON FALLS --- Trudy Marie Chesney, 32, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born Oct. 31, 1980 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Melody A. (Jeffords) Chesney and the late Brian W. Chesney Sr.
Trudy graduated from Hadley Luzerne High School, Class of 1998. She earned her LPN License from WSWHE BOCES in 2007, and worked at Fort Hudson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Edward, as well as other various medical facilities.
Some of her enjoyments included listening to music, playing pool, scrap booking, reading and writing, and watching horror movies. Above all, Trudy loved to spend time with her loved ones, especially her two children. She also enjoyed long conversations with her best friend since high school, Charity Bosford.
In addition to her father, Brian W. Chesney Sr., Trudy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Virginia Wilson, and her paternal grandparents, Malon and Lelia Chesney.
Survivors include Trudy's two children, Victoria Chantelle French of Hudson Falls, and Dominic Alexander Smith of Queensbury; her sister, Melissa Lawson and her husband, Richard, of Florida; her brother, Brian W. Chesney Jr. of Hudson Falls; an aunt, Beulah Jeffords of Hudson Falls; two uncles, Steven Chesney of Arkansas, and John C. Jeffords and his wife, Jeanie, of Indiana; also several cousins and many friends.
Friends may call upon the family Thursday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Plank, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hudson Falls, officiating.
Donations may be made, in loving memory of Trudy, to her children, Dominic and Victoria's Trust Fund c/o Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co., 696 Upper Glen St., Queensbury, NY 12804.
