WARRENSBURG --- Wayne F. Anderson, 79, passed away following a long illness on Monday, July 6, 2026, with loved ones by his side.

Born March 13, 1947, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Karl and Audrey (Suprenant) Anderson.

Wayne graduated from Lake George High School in 1965. He worked for the Lake George Steamboat Company as the Marine Superintendent, during which time he oversaw the building of the Lac Du Saint Sacrement. He retired after 20 years of employment. He was also self-employed at Anderson & Son Specialty from 1992-2022.

Wayne married Barbara Shaw in Warrensburg in 1966. This year would have been their 60th anniversary.

He enjoyed restoring classic Mustangs, making custom knives, restoring antique clocks, woodworking, and stained glass.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his sister, Karen; brothers, Karl and Gary; granddaughter, Jessica Gosselin; and Tyson the shop dog.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Anderson; children, Michelle Martino (James) and Wayne Anderson (Crystal); grandson-in-law, Zachary Gosselin; step-granddaughter, Kourtney Mattison; great-grandson, Griffin Gosselin; step-great-granddaughter, Ensley Webb; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private graveside ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family.
