Obituary

GLENS FALLS --- Wesley Robert Mosher, 72, of South St., Glens Falls, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Fulton Center in Gloversville, following a brief illness.

Born Sept. 20, 1941 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Harold and Viola (Burch) Mosher.

Wes worked as a truck driver before his retirement. For many years, he attended the Assembly of God Church in Bolton Landing.

Some of his enjoyments included word search puzzles and small engine repair. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren, especially Shakara, whom he had a special bond with.

In addition to his parents, Wes was predeceased by his daughter, Gracie Brown; a sister, Carol Germain; a brother, Joseph Mosher; his former wife, Gracie Mosher; a half-sister, Susan Harrington; and half-brother, Michael Mosher.

Survivors include five children, Joyce (Dwayne) Rose, Georgie (Gary Dickinson) Mosher, Wes (Doreen) Mosher, Rand (Christa) Mosher, and Tanya Mosher; many grandchildren, with special mention of the three girls he lived with, Brittney, Rebeckaa, and Shakara, and also Michael Scott, Jessica and Gregory Lylyk, and Michael Brown; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Betsy, Susan, Darlene, and Tammy; half-brothers, Harold, Vern, and Ricky; sister-in-law, Virginia Mosher; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Wes was also loved deeply by "Angel" the pug.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.

A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Flossie Gage Bates officiating.
