GLENS FALLS---Wilbur "Dickie" Richard Wells, 82, of First St., went home to be with the lord on Friday September 1st, 2023.

A native of Glens Falls, he was the son of his late parents Richard and Dorothy Wells. Dickie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who spent most of his life in the construction industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always excited to be with his grandchildren. Dickie enjoyed purchasing and reselling storage units. He loved to gamble and was always up for a game of poker with his grandsons. He also loved collecting unique coins. Dickie was known for always speaking his mind and he loved his dog Shiloh dearly.

Dickie is survived by his children, Toochie Wells and Jeffrey Breault. Also surviving, are his grandchildren Alicia and Michael Tatum, Thomas "Dinkdog" and Fawn Center, Tyanne Carpenter, Dawn Breault, Krista Breault and Katina Breault as well as all his great grandchildren, Myles "Mylo" Tatum, Kaylynn Warrington, Alexander Warrington, Olivia Faxon, Isabella Center, Ethan Center, Mariah Breault, Hunter Davis, Adelyn Mitchum, Nolan Mitchum, Alana Mellen, Jessie Carpenter and Kaiden Whiting. Dickie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Lastly, he is survived by his dear friend, Terry Hack "Baby Bear".

In addition to his parents, Dickie was predeceased by his loving wife Viola "Vi" Wells, his siblings, Billy Wells, Winston Wells and June Wells as well as his daughter, Dawn Marie Gates. May they all rest in peace together.

All family and friends are welcome to attend the viewing hours on Friday September 8th, 2023, at 11:00 am at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, directly followed by a burial at the Bay Street Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow the burial.
