GLENS FALLS --- William D. "Bill" Guyette, 62, of Glens Falls, left us suddenly Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 after a brief illness.
Born Sept. 22, 1950 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Roger and Louise (Campbell) Guyette.
Bill was a graduate of Glens Falls Senior High and worked for many years at local restaurants until his early retirement.
Bill had many hobbies and pastimes, reading, cooking, and definitely a green thumb. He had many friends through his neighborhood, and will be sadly missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by three brothers, Roger, Roy, and Daniel Guyette.
Survivors include five sisters, June Langdoc of Danville, Il, Elsie Omalley, Janice Guyette, Carol Guyette, and Angela Clifford, all of Glens Falls; three brothers, John (Pam) Guyette of Queensbury, and Terrence and Ron Guyette, both of Glens Falls; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Sandra Hitchcock, Jack Richardson, Rick Trombley, and Debbie LeBrun; and Bill's pride and joy, Devereaux.
Friends may call upon the family Friday, Nov. 2, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Maynard D. Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury.
A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. David McCane, pastor of Oneida Community Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Bay St. Cemetery in Glens Falls.
