Hudson Falls---- William "Bill" F. Gibbs, 60, passed away, March 14, 2018 after a long illness with loved ones by his side.

Born June 1, 1957 in Glens Falls, N.Y., he was the son of William Sr. and Arlene (Baker) Gibbs Stevens.

Bill was self employed in the drywall business for many years. He had many enjoyments including; picking, baking, cars, but more importantly spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, Bill was predeceased by an Uncle Eugene; and his nephews, James (Jim-bo) and Michael.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Arlene (Leroy); seven children, Michael (Jessica), Nicole (Aleksas), Andrea (Paco), Audrey (Brian), Art (Michelle), Sabrina (Bryan), and Jack (Karlisha); nineteen grandchildren who love their papa/poppy very much; four sisters, Debbie (Clarance),Virginia (Steve), Stella (Joey), and Verdena; three brothers, Rolly (Pam), Randy (Cheri), and Daren (Shannon); an Uncle Sonny, and Aunt Patricia; and also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, March 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804.

A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

A gathering will take place following the service at Kingsbury Firehouse.

A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the nursing staff of tower 2 at Glens Falls Hospital and the Oncology and Cardiology departments of Glens Falls and Albany Med.
