HOOSICK FALLS---William B. O'Pray, 80, of Hoosick Falls passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Southwestern Vermont Hospital in Bennington.
Born October 3, 1932 in Troy, he was the son of the late Donald and Genevieve "Jessie" (Caufield) O'Pray.
Bill resided at The Danforth Assisted Living Home in Hoosick Falls. He was a bocce ball champion two years in a row and also was past member of ARC Fun Club, and worked at Community Workshop for a short time.
He enjoyed puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune, especially liking Vanna White.
Before his residency at The Danforth, Bill was a member of the Fort Hudson Day Care Program with his niece, Carol.
In addition to his parents, a sister, Jean O'Pray Howard and her husband, Donald Howard Sr., and a very special niece, Carol Howard, who was like a sister to Bill, predeceased him.
Survivors include three nieces, Donna Farr (David), Patricia Sullivan (Thomas Sr.), Marlo Peters (Reginald); two nephews, Robert Howard (Mary Linda), and Donald Howard (Evelyn); also several grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
At his request, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Southside Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
