Obituary

QUEENSBURY --- Zoa H. (Purner) Nobles McBride, 95, of Sweet Rd., Queensbury, passed on to her new life Tuesday evening, May 15, 2012 from the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, with her family at her bedside.
Born Feb. 16, 1917 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank C. and Salina M. (Neddo) Purner.
Zoa was a loving, devoted wife, a wonderful, caring, giving woman, and a great pillar of strength for all. Some of her enjoyments included camping and traveling, especially her trip to Russia.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Noble, Beverly N. Lockhart, Judy N. Miller, Marsha N. Begoe, and her stepson, Wayne McBride; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A graveside ceremony will take place Monday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, 52 Luzerne Rd., Queensbury, with family friend, Deacon Don Webster officiating.
Her family would like to thank the staff at The Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre for all their care and support during this most difficult time.
